9. Vazhachal Waterfalls

This water fall is located 77 km from Earnakulam. This beautiful place is very close to Athirapally – Valparai road. This water fall is formed from the river chalakkudy. At the starting point this is slow fall but at this place this is from 300 feet height. This place is surrounded with lots of greenery.

Here you can enjoy cool cool environment. Lots of transportation facility is available. You can also go by your own car also.

10. Chimmony Wildlife Sanctuary

Chimmony Wildlife Sanctuary is located 78 km far from Earnakulam. This Chimmony Wildlife Sanctuary is established at 1958 and spread over 100 square km. Entry point of this sanctuary is echipara check post. From this point you can hire guide also. Here you can see lots of animal in natural environment, 200 spices of birds and 100 spices of butterflies in this sanctuary.

Over night stay is allowed with prior permission. If you want to do trekking then forest department organized paid trekking program. For 3 hour of program you have to pay 250 Rs, for half day 400 Rs and for full day 800 Rs. Timing to visit this place is 06:00 am to 06:00 pm.
