By Train

It is easy to reach Agra through train. The distance between Mumbai and Agra is 1297 km. You should not have to change the train to reach Agra from Mumbai. Following are the trains, running between Mumbai and Agra. From Agra railway station, you can take city bus, rickshaw or taxi to reach Taj Mahal.

By Bus

The distance between Mumbai and Agra is 1200 km by road. There are no direct buses from Mumbai to Agra. You have to travel in train up to Mathura and have to use the State Transport Bus from Mathura to Agra. From the bus stop, you can take a city bus or hire a rickshaw or taxi to reach the beautiful Taj Mahal.

By Air

The best way to reach Agra from Mumbai is by air. The distance between Mumbai and Agra is 1036 km. It may take up to 1 hour and 50 minutes to reach Agra from Mumbai by flight. Air India and Alliance Air are the only available airlines, which operates flights from Mumbai to Agra. Alternatively, you can also take flight from Mumbai to New Delhi, when there is no flight available to Agra. From Agra Airport, you can hire rickshaw, car, or taxi to reach Taj Mahal.

By Car or Road

The distance from Mumbai to Agra is 1200 km by road. You have to drive your car 18 to 19 hours (approx) to reach the city of Agra.Following are the directions from Mumbai to Agra highway.

1. Head south-east on CST Road/Tamasi Bandat Rd towards AH Wadia Marg
2. Slight left onto CST Road/Santacruz – Chembur Link Rd (Continue to follow Santacruz – Chembur Link Rd)

11. Take the exit towards Sardar Patel Ring Rd(Toll road)
