  1. The city of Chennai is superb where shopping and transport are concerned but on the other hand there are many poor people begging on the streets. I feel they should be looked after by the authories because at times they become a nuisance to the tourists. There were moments where we found it difficult to make ourselves understood in supermarkets and shops because the language problem was there. We went down Ranganatgat street where there were so many lovely things to buy and see, but it was very diificult to find our way because there was hardly any room to take a step as the street was very, very crowded. More so when it rains it became so muddy and messy that we could not find our way through from shop to shop. If some authority could put some order in Ranganathan street it would become a shoppers’ paradise where tourists would be drawn into. thank alot
