1. Under the Howrah Bridge

Under the Howrah Bridge, there is a place known as the Mullick Ghat flower market. This spot have faced many paranormal activities. In this area, wrestlers practice on the daily basis. They are claiming that they have seen flailing hands in the river and added that they are not sure that those hands are of human being or any some spirits playing tricks with them.

Some people have also recalled the incident of seeing a women in the white sobbing and calling their name in a nasal ton. People also believe that there are the spirits of the people who lost their life by drowning or by committing suicide in the holy river Ganga.

2. Nimtala Shamshan Ghat

Nimtala Shamshan Ghat is located at 2p, Strand Bank Road, Beadon Street area. Nimtala Shamsaan Ghat is believed and considered as one of the most haunted places in Kolkata. It is the oldest burning ghat in Kolkata. According to the belief of people, name should not be spoken louder here. They eats left over flesh of the burnt body and uses it as a power. It is also believed that on the night of Kali Puja, the agoras come to the place.

3. Writer’s Building

This is the most powerful building in Kolkata. The Writer’s Building of Kolkata is used to house the secretariat building of the state government of West Bengal and the empty room in 300 years has some huge hidden secrets which are scary for all. Here, the famous revolutionaries Binay, Badal and Dinesh killed captain of East India Company. Here someone’s shout and scary voices are heard late night. It is considered as one of the most haunted places in Kolkata.

4. South Park Street Cemetery

This is the famous tourist spot in the city of Kolkata built in 1767. It was one of the oldest non – church cemeteries in the world. It is but obvious that when we go out for touring or picnic, we click pictures. Some friends visited this place and clicked some pictures over here, but a strange thing happened. The healthy group suddenly feel ill and one of them had an asthma attack. Paranormal activities like moving shadow, strange voices are also seen and heard. People living near by keeps their windows and door shut due to fear.

5. The Royal Calcutta Turf Club

The Royal Calcutta Turf Club is popularly known as Calcutta Race Course and one considered as one of the most haunted places in Kolkata. All the staff return home by evening from this place and horses are taken back at home. If we get chance to spend one night there and a sound of horse neighing is herd and it will disappear eventually how scary will you fill! Same, this is the story of 1930s.

George Williams was a race maniac. He loved his horses more than this family, job and comforts. One of the pearl white horses named Pride was one of his favorite horses. By as the time passed she grew old and ill. Her last race was Annual Calcutta Derby. Pride lost this race. Pride was found dead on the tracks, the very next day.
