2. Golkonda Fort

The Golkonda Fort is a ruined fort located 11 km west of Hyderabad. It is the most famous place for mines which produced one of the most precious diamonds such as Hope Diamond and Nassak Diamond. The fort was built in 1600s and currently in ruined condition. In the area fort, there is also a historical mosque named ‘Mosque of Ibrahim’.

3. Falaknuma Palace

The Falaknuma Palace is one of the most expensive royal palaces in the world. The palace was built on the land of 32 acres in Falaknuma, 5 km from Charminar in Hyderabad. The palace is now converted into heritage and luxurious hotel, managed by the Taj Hotels Group. You just need to stay here to see the palace. The Falaknuma Palace Hotel is also one of the most expensive hotels in India. The hotel has a 101-seat dining hall, one of the largest dinning halls in the world. If you are not interested to stay in the hotel, you can also enjoy watching it from the outside of the palace.

4. Birla Mandir

The Birla Mandir is a Hindu temple dedicated to the various Hindu gods and goddess including Lakshmi, Ganesh, Shiva, Saibaba, Saraswati, Hanuman, Shakti and Brahma. The temple is constructed on a 280 feet high hillock in Hyderabad. You can reach here easily with TSRTC buses as well as MMTS. The nearest bus station from Birla Mandir is Lakdi Ka Pul.

4. Ramoji Film City

The Ramoji Film City is the largest film city in the world, constructed on land of 1666 acres. It is owned by the Ramoji Group. The Ramoji Film City is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the city. The film city has also an amusement park and various other attractions. You have to buy tourist ticket from the counter at the Ramoji Film City. It is a must to visit place, if you are planning to visit Hyderabad.

5. Hussain Sagar Lake

The Hussain Sagar Lake was built by Hazrat Hussain Shah Wali in the year 1562. The lake is spread across an area of 5.7 sq. km and surface area is 4.4 sq. km. It is one of the largest artificial lakes in the city. A large statue of the Gautam Buddha is placed in the center of the lake. The lake is filled with the water of the Musi river through canals.

6. NTR Gardens

The NTR Gardens are the nearest tourist attraction adjacent to the Hussain Sagar Lake. It was constructed on a land of 55 acres in 15th December, 2001. The Garden is a beautiful place for your leisure activities with your family, children or friends group. After visiting the park, you can also visit the nearest place Birla Mandir, located very close to the garden.
