7:00pm: Bretton Woods Monetary Conference
Learn about the Bretton Woods Monetary Conference that took place at The Mount Washington Hotel in 1944, which established post-war economics and is still in effect today. Presented by Professor Carl Lindblade.

4:00pm: Cheers to a New Year- Winterdoodle Cookies & Cocoa

Get star struck during this presentation on the intricate and fascinating connections between life on Earth and the history and phenomena of the Universe around them. Learn about the amazing sequence of events that led to the formation of the solar system and the Earth, and how we have come to understand what we are and why we are here. Following the presentation, weather permitting, there will be observing through telescopes. Presented by Dr. Douglas Arion, Director of the Carthage Institute of Astronomy and Professor of Physics and Astronomy at Carthage College.
