Can’t decide where to go for New Year’s Eve? Ring in the new year in style with a trip to the mountaintop! The castle resort will be fully decorated for the holidays with trees, festive wreaths, and have plenty of cheer for your New Year’s Eve getaway. In addition to daily family crafts, indoor and outdoor winter activities, special New Year’s Eve events include live music and special performances, a photo booth, evening campfires, and fireworks!

INCLUSIVE PRICING, So you can relax and enjoy your stay. Here at Mohonk Mountain House, enjoying your visit is of utmost importance. The inclusive pricing structure ensures your stay is free of added costs, so you can feel confident that the rate you are given is the rate you will pay. While most activities continue to be included in your overnight rate, there are some experiences at Mohonk that will incur an additional expense, but these are at your discretion and you will be informed of those costs prior to participating.

In a career that spans five decades, 23 albums and three Grammy awards; multi-talented singer, songwriter, and guitarist Tom Chapin has covered an incredible amount of creative ground. Chapin joins fellow musicians Michael Mark and Jon Cobert to deliver a performance with infectious songs, sterling musicianship and personal warmth!

New Year’s Eve Photo Booth with Silly Snaps- 8pm – 11pm

Create holiday memories by snapping a photo in photo booth! Complete with fun props, backdrops, customizable effects, and more- you can share your favorite pictures online or keep as a printout to remember this special occasion!

Live Music: The E.B. Band- 8pm

Join them in the Parlor for an electric live musical performance. From rock to pop, the Electric Boulevard Band can do it all. This talented group of New York musicians is an immersive group that is sure to have you dancing the night away!

Evening Movie: ‘Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets- 8:45pm

Enjoy this magical movie as you celebrate throughout the evening.

Strolling Magic with Alexander Boyce- 9pm

With a unique approach to magic, Alexander Boyce is quick to surprise and leaves critical thinkers baffled. His close-up mini-shows are filled with fast-paced wonders that are both mischievous and authentic.

Campfires with Roasted Marshmallows- 9:30pm – 11:30pm

Sit back by campfire and roast a marshmallow!

Live Music: Bill’s Toupee- 10pm

Bill’s Toupee is a pop/dance/cover band playing generations of favorite hits. From Beyonce to Bruno Mars and everything in between, there will be music for everyone to enjoy.

New Year’s Eve Fireworks- 12am

Join them for a spectacular close to the night featuring fireworks by Legion Fireworks.
Midnight Buffet – 12am
Close out your evening with a delicious treat before heading to bed.
