The Vienna Philharmonic New Year’s Concert will be ushered by Andris Nelsons, the Music Director of the Boston Symphony Orchestra and Gewandhauskapellmeister of the Gewandhausorchester Leipzig. He has been associated with the Concert since 2010.

The year 2020 is the first time that will experience this beautiful journey marked by Andris Nelsons. There would be three concerts during the New Year event.
The Preview Performance Concert that would begin at 11:00 a.m in the morning on December 30, 2019. The New Year’s Eve Concert starting from 7:30 p.m on December 31, 2019. The New Year’s Concert beginning from 11:15 a.m on January 1, 2020.
The sequence of performances and programs would be same for all the concerts but only the last concert i.e. January 1 will be regularly broadcasted on Radio and TV.
