Fushifaru Maldives Resort is easily accessible by a Seaplane in 35 -40 minutes approximately. The transfers by Seaplane are mandatory and it is the only available mode of transport for commutation between Male International Airport and Fushifaru Maldives Resort.

Seaplane Flight services are provided by Trans Maldivian Airways (TMA) and are functional only during daylight hours. For outbound flights, timings of transfer are 06:00hrs and 15:30 and for inbound flights with departures, timings are 09:00 and 20:00. Guests with flight schedules before or after the given arrival and departure lots, may not get a same-day transfer and may have to book overnight accommodation nearby Male Airport.

Free Baggage Allowance

Each passenger with a seat on a Seaplane gets a complimentary baggage allowance of a total of 25 kg which includes 20 kg of checked-in luggage and 5 kg of hand luggage. Any excess weight over this is chargeable at the rate of USD 5 per kg. Kids below 2 years with no seat are not eligible for any complimentary baggage allowance. If an extra seat is required, it will be charged at the child’s rate specified above
