LH New Year’s Eve 2022

In the hotel’s Juliette Ballroom, guests will enjoy live music from Mike & Joe, as well as a four-hour open bar, hors d’oeuvres buffet, and a midnight champagne toast followed by a midnight breakfast buffet to cap off the holiday fete.

Guests can also choose to countdown to the new year at LH on 21, the hotel’s rooftop bar where guests and locals will be celebrating together. The rooftop affair will feature a live DJ, four-hour open bar, passed appetizers, and a champagne toast.

Q: How much does it cost to attend this event, and where can I get in on the fun?

A: This free fireworks display will be located in the heart of the City, along the river front and on Lake Michigan which can be viewed at Navy Pier. Q: Will there be parking specifically for this event? If not, where will I be able to park?

A: There will not be dedicated parking for this event, they suggest booking parking prior to arriving downtown in order to ensure you have a space. You can book parking through Spothero. Better yet, take advantage of City’s fantastic transit infrastructure for fast & efficient transportation without the need for a designated driver!

Q: Where is the best place to watch the fireworks?

A: You can watch the Midnight display from anyplace along the Chicago River between Wolf Point and Lake Shore Drive as well as on Lake Michigan near Navy Pier. To have a guaranteed viewing spot, join at one of partner events!

Q: In the event that there is rain or other bad weather what will happen?

A: The fireworks display will take place regardless of the weather conditions, provided it is safe to proceed. They will be working with meteorology team to monitor the weather and advise of any safety concerns.
